I was very subtly hacked…
Every website has a .htaccess file. I looked at it just now… It was hacked and was redirecting search engine traffic to a different site since March!
I had noticed that my site no longer ranked for my name in Google, but RSS feeds and updates seemed normal.
But some bugger hacked me exactly the same way that Granddad got hacked. Head Rambles .htaccess file, was injected with some malicious code, checking for the USER_AGENT, in turn redirecting “Googlebot, Slurp, msnbot” to another website.
In March.
Hmmm.
Anyway I’m going to be keeping an eye on things now.

Let me know if you are using the code I designed and run into any problems.

Let me know if you find any other issues and I am glad you find my code useful.

Hmm…not anything I ever looked at. I will now though. Cheers.
