A history of gaming wrapped up in a song.
As a kid, I loved arcades. The cacophony of competing attractions, the beeped promise of pleasure, the weight of the coins in my pocket. The games were good to. Graphically there weren’t brilliant, but the simple to start, hard to master game play made up for it.
Now the consoles have near photorealism, and sometimes poor play. I feel a longer post coming on.
