Poppy fields

In theory this is a wheat field, and the poppies are weeds.
But they are beautiful weeds, a potential cash crop and a nice photo.
And they should have died back by the time the wheat is ready for harvest.

    The poppies are weeds? Should have died at time of harvest? Hard to believe looking at this photo. Lovely.
